Our Horses and Ponies

12.3hh Irish Sports pony. Previously done all pony club activities, unaffiliated show jumping & cross country. We have built a 20 year relationship with Bubbles. A bit cheeky but knows his job and taught hundreds of children to ride.

13hh Welsh Cross pony. Brilliant to hack, best canter for a learner and likes to jump small jumps at a very steady pace. Loves to be brushed and fussed by kids. Maple has built a big fan club since he has been at the Riding School for a long time.

16.3hh Registered Irish Draft. Previously hunted. Suitable whether you are a beginner or advanced rider. Flies over all jumps including walls & gates also a fantastic hacker. Has his own fan club, very popular amongst the taller riders

14.2hh Cob. Sunny has the best moustache in the county. He can be very steady but equally go with the right rider. Loves to jump & a perfect hack.

12.2hh Cob. Has character but is great to jump. Perfect to hack. Has brought many children on in their riding ability.

14.1hh Cob. Charlie is an all-rounder, he is suitable for all abilities. A very friendly horse which loves to be fussed over.

15.1hh Unregistered Connemara gelding. Schools nicely, lovely to hack. Sid likes to get to know his riders, but once he does, he is a pleasure in every respect.

14hh Unregistered Connemara gelding. Noel was born at the riding school and was a lovely surprise addition to the Bristol Riding School family. Being raised with us, he schools extremely well.

13.3hh Welsh Section C gelding. Suitable for our novice riders as well as more our more advanced riders. He has a lovely rocking horse canter, he likes to jump and also is a great hack. Ginger is perfect to handle.

12.2hh Dartmoor gelding. Magic was rescued at 3 months old and was raised hand fed, so she loves to lick. Magic has a lovely canter, hacks well and is a pleasure to ride (if you can handle all of the licking).
